Window- with a Thank You (Saturday 1-31-2015)

Here is a lovely window die that I cut out in the Vagabond, along with stamped trees, from GKD 's set Wild About You by Theresa Momber.  The sentiment is from the Lots of Thanks set from Gina K. Design's too.  The flourished CS was a freebie from Gina, when I won a while back.

Thank you for looking!

From the June 2014 release, I have a card that I made using the "Please Snow"

Here is another card, that took only minutes to create, followed by two cards using the Camelia stamp set from June 2014:

Jan. 26, 2015 A Masculine Birthday Hoot

This is such a fun stamp set from Gina K. Designs.  All colored with Copics, and masculine colors abound, but this could be sent to a lady too! Don't you just love the ribbon?

Thanks for visiting and come back tomorrow, please!

Jan. 25, 2015 Spring Blessings

Here is another GKD Spring Blessings card that I whipped up.  I  think I am really looking towards Spring.  I am so tired of winter! These brighter colors are speaking to me big time.

So glad you came by today!

Jan. 24, 2015 A Red Thank You

I used the oval Thank You from GKD, and some patterned paper, from a Gina K. kit.  A small amount of twine to balance things, and I was finished with this one!

Thanks for peeking in!

A Few more cards.... 1-23-2015

I made one last night and one this morning. I am having a lot of fun getting back in the groove, or it is more fun than cleaning up this room! Ha

The first one is little, only a 3.5 " square card that is perfect to go with a gift.  The second card is a standard 4.25 x 5.5" one.  I used patterned papers from GKD for both of these, along with CS from my StampTV kits. I did some paper piecing to add dimension to the umbrella card
by popping a few up on pop dots!

Thanks for looking!

HELLO by Mark's Finest Papers

The leaf sentiment is from Mark's Finest Papers, from the Pretty Pears set, that was released back in
June, 2014.

The card colors and simple design, make it a card that would be a great masculine card! Sometimes, these types of card are more difficult to create, right? It would also work as a feminine one too, in a pinch.

Gina K Designs Thurs. 1-22-2015

I am really on a roll, and who knows maybe someday I will use up all the scraps of patterned paper and CS that is on my work table. t might take a few years though, hahaha. The little round sentiment is from Gina K. Design's Birthday Go Round, mounted up on GKD patterned paper, called Here comes the sun.

So happy that you stopped by today!

Jan. 21, 2014 (GKD) I Appreciate You

I was playing around this morning, before I had to leave for an eye doc appointment, and this is what I did.  I used Gina Design's set, that I received, last April, and is called "I Appreciate You".  This was stamped on white CS, cut with a Spellbinder's die, and colored with Copics.  A little touch of ribbon added  after I sponged the area around the image.  Quick and fun to make.

Thank you for visiting!

Just Playing

My first one  uses the Pullin' Pastels technique, and my second here is another look toward Spring.  Just quick and fun!

Pullin' Pastel 1-19-2015

I just made this after watching Melanie's video today, and as you can see I had some of Gina K's Halloween stamps on my desk.  I also had two brand new boxes of chalk that have been hanging around up-opened for at least three years!
I told you there is a lot of stuff in this room! Haha  This technique was fun and I urge you to watch Melanie's video on Pullin' Pastels.  Fun thing to do.

Another look toward Spring? 1-19-2015

I am on a roll and noticed how I have started picking brighter colors and patterns to work with.  Makes me giggle, since it is still January. Here is another one!

I used the patterned paper from the Here Comes the Sun pack, along with the turquoise and yellow GKD card stock. I think all of these supplies were from a STV kit, months ago.   The cut out leaves were in my box of Vagabond scraps, that I had made a long time ago.  The gold grosgrain ribbon was added to tie all the colors together,  Thank you for looking!
