It definitely seems almost tropical for our winter in Wisconsin.  Almost up to 40  degrees today!

This creation says it all, I think!

My images are from Gina K. Designs, that I colored with Copic markers. I used dimensional to add dimension.  I sponged the sand too.

I needed a New Year card for my son, and this is what I came up with.  I used Sketch SC780 from SplitCoast Stampers.

I have had this Power Poppy stamp set on my desk ever since I won it last year.  I think it will come in handy  and would be a good one for either a masculine or a feminine recipient's card.   This is a very nice bunch of Christmas stamps and one that can be used for many different holiday cards.

This 1st one is for CAS563 at Split Coast Stampers. - to make a Christmas Thank You card. I used a Gina K. Winter Cheer stamp and a Gina K. Funky Flourish stencil.

This 2nd card is made with a Snow Kissed Stamp from Power Poppy.- for FFA511 - a Holiday card that is not Christmas.

A new creation using images from Gina K. Designs.  Like it?  The little bows were also stamped and fussy cut, so I could pop them up with dimensionals.

The Red and White Challenge from The MOD Squad .  I used an image from Gina L. Designs Winter Cheer stamp set, stamped with red ink, colored with red Copic markers, and then I added sparkley gems.

It was more difficult than I thought to make a card without stamps.  Die cuts rule here, however.

 This is for the Splitcoast F4A506 Challenge.  It is 506 although there seems to be a mistake in the description that says 501.

Thurs., Oct. 31, 2019 Happy Halloween

Today is Halloween and here in Wisconsin our first snow of the season made its appearance. So surprised to be greeted with a Season change this morning. This is unusual since this hasn't happened since 1977. Luckily it is not a lot of snow, but just a little and a way for everyone to adjust to driving with slick roads!

                               

 I decided to share yesterday's card once more for today's post.

I made this Halloween card using the Painted Autumn stamp set from Gina K. Designs,  I stamped and colored the image 3 times. The one in front is set on dimensionals, after I colored them with Copic Markers. 

This is for LovLee's Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers CAS557.

Tues. Oct. 29, 2019 Country Western???

I found this Horse head image on my desk, but I have no idea which stamp set it was from.  I colored it and then added it to a stenciled piece of CS.  The stencil is a GKD one .  Added a tag for the background  for the horse .  A real mix of things to make this card, and I am happy with the end result.

Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019 MOD Squad 3 Color Challenge ** Black, Brown, and Cream

The MOD Squad Challenge was to create a card using ONLY Black, Brown, and Cream.  No other colors and not even white.  So here is what I made to share for this challenge. Can you see the small amount of brown card stock below the black panel?  Part of the challenge was to also add a tag and I decided to add  two of them, with some ribbon and twine.

Oct. 19, 2019 Celebrating Wonderful Memories!

Last night was our 50th St. Patrick Academy High School Reunion.  A great time was seeing all those wonderful girls again. We had a super time visiting and catching up with each other.  Warm fuzzies were all around. Thank you to Judy, Pat and Diane for all your hard work organizing this SPA Hug. We missed the girls that couldn't attend, but you were in our thoughts! The nuns and teachers were discussed and remembered too.

 We were the last Graduating Class,  before the school closed and was torn down. There is a closeness that we share even after all these years.
 We are great and we are fine ♪ ♫, we're the Class of  '69.  ♫  ♪

      I still have my School Sweater and Class Ring! I even have a brick from the school after it was demolished!
