Wed. 1-30-2019 MSC Foil Challenge- two cards

 The Mod Squad Challenge is to use Foil  I thought it was a great idea for a Valentine card, with hearts and the red Foiled sentiment from Gina K.  I haven't done this technique in quite a while and so it was fun to use my laminator again.  Here is a link to learn more about this challenge.


I was playing and made another card,  with a peek a boo opening, for my foiled heart.

Tues. Jan. 29, 2019 2 for Splitcoast Challenges

The first one here is for F4A466 ----The sentiment is from Beth's All Stars stamp set.

This one is for the challenge CAS518 to use three different patterned papers.  I added the "Wish" from Beth Silaika's All Stars stamp set from Gina K. Designs. This was a very fun way to use up many of the printed papers that I have had for years!

Sun. Jan. 27, 2019 Some Valentines

I decided to play around today with my newest Gina K Designs stamp sets, to make some Valentine cards and get an early start, while staying inside and keeping warm.  I think it is -5 degrees now.  Brrrrr.  Yep, that is negative 5 degrees!

The 1st card used Melanie's newest stamps "Open Book" and the 2nd one used Emily Loggan's "All You Need is Love" .

Fri. 1.25.2019 Hello Friend

 Late last night was spent creating this card for a friend of mine.  I made the background using
Gina K's Petite Flourish and then added a few details from the Hello Friend set, that I got free with a purchase back in 2016.  I added a little glitter to the flower center and propped it up in the center.

Wed.1.23.2019 MCS Challenge

We got a huge snowstorm yesterday so this card seemed like a good idea.  It works for the MOD Squad Challenge to use two or more images. 

I used two cute little characters from the Gina K. stamp set called Winter Cheer.  I colored with Copics and used dimensionals too. I embossed the card front with a CuttleBug folder called Swiss Dots.  Those remind me of falling snow!

1.23.2019 SC733 for Splitcoast

I used the sketch SC733 to make my card this morning.  I haven't decided on a sentiment yet because I can make this work for any occasion.

Tues. 1-22-2019 F4A465 To Celebrate National Popcorn Day

This card was to celebrate National Popcorn Day and to show something that might POP.  Well, this is what I came up with, a Birthday card with balloons!

 I used a stamp from Gina K.called Happy Birthday to You, and colored with Copics.

1.20.2019 Oh the Mystery to say Thanks

I found these stamps on my desk and I have no clue where they came from and who manufactured them.  I still decided to make a card today using a few of them and just played around.  Any chance you have an idea so I can credit them??  I have to tell you that they have been sitting in a pile of stuff for years and years!   It was fun creating with the mystery stamps, though.

1-12-2019 My Emboss Resist for J.U.G.S. 470

This is for J.U.G.S. 470 challenge .  It has been quite a long time since I did this technique and it was fun to re- visit it.

I used an image from Gina K.Designs- Art from the Heart to emboss resist the flower image.  I added a fussy cut butterfly that I colored with Copics.

Wed. Jan. 9, 2019 Little Bear with Love

 I was playing around in my craft room yesterday and came up with this card using scraps and a little bear from Sweet Thing and Wealth of Wishes stamp sets from Gina K. 
I am thinking this can work either as a feminine or masculine card.  Your thoughts????

Here is a card I made using a silhouette that I made with another die from Spellbinders.  I adore these silhouettes as they remind me of ones my mom made of me as a child. It created a wonderful scene of children running in a field.

Fri. 1-4-2019 Here are two more cards I am sharing.....

I made two cards late yesterday and I am sharing them with you today. 
The 1st is for the Monthly Mix Challenge at Gina K.  

Use a sentiment! I did use this one from Melanie's    "This Girl"
stamp set. I kept it simple so the sentiment would be the star.

My second creation uses a new die from Spellbinder's - Love the silhouette look to this one.  I made it into a birthday card, with a huge sun die cut circle sun.

I created this card today to fulfill two challenges.  The first is SC730 and also the MOD Squad challenge for triple patterned papers for SplitCoast Stampers.  I was so happy that this one card could work for both challenges.
