My sister came over to help me out yesterday and I thought this card would be perfect to give to her as a thank you.  I just finished it and so I can mail it out right away! 
 This is to celebrate my Birth Month stone- April

This is my card for "Under the Weather"- CAS522 .  I used stamps from the set by Beth Silaika (Gina K. Designs) called Weather or Not.  I embossed the front panel with a Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder, to simulate raindrops.   I fussycut all the images after I colored them with Copic markers.

Here is my card, saying I Miss You!   The flowers and leaves are from the Gina K. Design "Hello Friend" stamp set.  I fussy cut 3 of the flowers and 4 leaves, to set on the oval background.

Wed. Feb. 20, 2019 MOD Squad Challenge 2 / 2019

This is the card I made using a Gina K Designs stamp, called Framescape Simply Spring.  I am definitely ready for Spring and some warm weather- and no more snow!

I think I will be seeing the hot air balloons in the sky- in another month or two!

2. 14. 2019 SC736 Challenge

For the St. Patrick Day holiday next month.!  I made this one using sketch SC736 for SplitCoast Stampers. Since I graduated from St. Patrick Academy I thought it was fitting to make a card like this.

 I was a member of the last graduating class, before the school was torn down, and those "Shamrocks" are super special.

Playing for a little bit this morning and made a gift tag for a bottle of wine.

Tuesday 2-12-2019 Jump for Joy F4A468

I made this Wild Animal card for F4A468 at SplitCoast, using the zebra stamp from Melanie Muenchinger's Jumping for Joy stamp set from Gina K. Designs, along with a bit of twine. to balance things out.

I stamped the zebra twice and fussy cut them both.  I used dimensionals to pop it up for added interest. The twine was added to add even more interest and to continue the colors.

 This was so much fun to stay in this cold day and create this "wood" card for the
Just Us Girls Challenge 474.

 The sentiments and  the wood slice are all from Gina K. Designs stamp sets. I scored and inked the panel behind the slice.

Sat. Feb. 9, 2019 Will Feathers warm you up?

It is sunny outside but only 15 degrees. Brrr!
 I was thinking that feathers keep the birds warm so maybe a card with them will warm us up too! I went to my craft desk to see what I could come up with.  Here it is- using Claire Brennan's set from Gina K. Designs.

It is only 6 degrees outside here today so I decided to stay inside and create.  Here is the card I whipped up  using the "Made with Love" stamp from Gina K. along with some EP, twine, and cardstock made for a patriotic looking birthday card!

This card works for both challenges- this one from   Double D --- Hearts.
This also works for the SplitCoast     SC735 sketch. I decided to make it using the colors of the Dutch Flag, as well as the Chicago Bears colors.

Wed. Feb. 6, 2019 Happy Birthday in Heaven to my honey

Today we should have been celebrating my husband's birthday, but sadly he passed away 2 years ago.  Since he was Dutch (born in Holland) and we even honeymooned in The Netherlands, I decided to make this card in memory of my sweetheart. On the inside is a stamped windmill to expand on the love we shared and to remember all the windmills we visited on the days we went to the Tulip fields.  I have so many great memories and will always cherish them. We married on my birthday in 2001, which made my 50th so very special!

Yes, the stripes are the colors of the Dutch Flag., and I still have our Wooden Shoes too.  Thank you for letting me share this memory with you today.

CAS519 Bands of Color  A  Birthday card that works for just about anyone. Stamped with words from the Gina K Happy Birthday to You set. I added some twine to give some texture, around the CS.

I made this one for the #388 Less is More Challenge, to use yellow and blue. A yellow die cut star, with added gems, on a sky like Navy CS piece.

Addicted to CAS----  I used Theresa Momber's stamp set Birds and Blossoms 2 from 2016 to create this card. This is a Gina K. Designs stamp set that I have had for a long time.The leaves are from the same set.

Playing some more with Melanie Muenchinger's Open Book stamp set from Gina K. Designs.
You must know by now that I am a cat owner and have been since the early 1960's.  It just makes sense that I would love this stamp set!  I colored this one to look like my eldest cat who  is almost 18 year old now.  He's s a Fawn Abbyssinian.

My other one is Isabelle and she is 13 years old now. Ha ha- she finally grew into her ears!

 Now here is the card I made with Melanie's Open Book cat.

The weather here is so cold.  It is 2:30 in the afternoon and it is -18 degrees. This is a great day to stay in and make some cards, right?  This one is the one for     Here is the sketch  SC734.  

 The card I made was one I made using DecoFoil  that I foiled
with a printed background from Gina K. It has been a few years since I
used the laminator and the foil, but I wanted to try it again, on the sketch here.
I made this into a Valentine Card, with a scallop heart and Gold EP sentiment
from Emily's All You Need is Love stamp set from Gina K.

Sat. 2-2-2019 GKD Monthly Mix Challenge

Here is the card I made using Coral for the Monthly Mix Challenge at Gina K. Designs. Two views are shown so that you can see that I also decorated the inside. 

The image is from Sending Love -- Art from the Heart.  Coloring was done with Copics. Some gingham dp and ribbon made everything come together.  Thanks for stopping by.

Friday, Feb. 1, 2019 Happy Birthday Valentine

Here is another foiled card I created and I admit to having quite a bit of fun making this a birthday Valentine card.   The shine is not easy to see in the photo but the look is stunning in real life! I added another little heart in the center, which I popped up with a dimensional  after I layered the square on the ribbon.
