Sun. 9-23-2018 Wedding Happiness

I made this card using a Spellbinder's die and a sentiment from Gina K. Designs. I don't have a need to use this card yet but am glad I will have one at the ready when necessary.  With a simple Cream and Black color scheme and a simple wish for the Happy Couple.

Die cut and sponged leaves and  mounted with 3D adhesives. Fall is so pretty!

I made this card for the CAS499 challenge at SplitCoast.  We are to have a frame and I made a Spellbinder lattice one to frame the flowers from Gina K. and Melanie Muenschinger's stamp set called Stately Flowers 10.  I colored with Copics to make the flowers as realistic as I could!

Good Morning!
Starting to think about the snow that we will have soon, so I created this card today to get ready, I think!

Tues. 9-11-2018 Frosted Pumpkin Thanks

This is the card  I made for the challenge CAS498 . I named it  Frosty Pumpkin .
  Pumpkins are nature's way to get us ready for the change of seasons.  Right? I used a touch of glitter to give the feeling of Frost on the Pumpkin! It is a Gina K Design stamp that I have had for quite a while.

Mon. 9-10-2018 Big Words F4A446

I made this card to enter the challenge F4A446 at SplitCoast Stampers, using big words.  I used More Massive Messages from Gina K. Designs for my sentiment.  I dry embossed with a Darice folder, called Compass for my base.  This was mounted on CS and added to a A2 card.  With a small piece of ribbon this card was completed.  Thanks for stopping by.

Fri. 9.-7-2018 HELLO CAS 497 !!!

This is for CAS497 at SplitCoast Stampers.  The challenge is Call Me Maybe.

The phone booth was stamped with an image from Gina K Designs.  The brick pattern was embossed with a CB folder.

Fri. 9-7-2018 Christmas Texture

Trying to get into a Christmas mood by creating this card with lots of texture.  I used a CB dotted swiss folder to create the background for the trees and the 3 D "Christmas" sentiment. I sponged the tree edges to highlight them, and placed them all on a piece of cranberry colored CS.

I made this one today to enter in the Challenge F4A445 at Split Coast  As I was making it, so many old grade school memories came back to mind!

I made this card for the CAS496 Challenge on Split Coast.  My favorite kind of day is a Sunny One.
Blue skies, a cat and the sun make things perfect for me.

8.27.2018 F4A444 Shapes

The challenge for F4A444 at Split Coast this time was to pick a shape.  I have a half circle lattice and many many stars, as my shapes., and also the banner for the sentiment.  We were not to use circles, squares, rectangles or ovals. This is what I came up with instead.

Sat. 8.25.2018 The driveway "Save"

A friend drove me home from lunch at her house last Wednesday. We have been friends since we attended high school together- in the 1960's. 
 In the course of her helping to catch my neighbor's loose dog, my friend dropped her prescription glasses on my driveway.  But we didn't realize it for sometime and didn't know where the glasses fell.  We found them about 45 minutes later, after she saved the dog and returned him. Whew!  Sure glad it wasn't a super hot day!  Anyway, after she left I was motivated to create a card to remind us of our adventure that afternoon.  This is what I came up with and I have to admit- I love this card!

This is a shaped card for the Getting in Shape MOD SQUAD challenge.  It was not to be a square or rectangle card so I decided on a Scallop Circle card.  This was a fun change of pace, so give it a try!
