Wrapped in Love

Here is a card I made using my free set from Gina K. Designs, called Wrapped in Love. There are quite a few bright and happy colors on this patterned paper, from GKD.  So I kept the present pretty plain stamped in GKD's Blue Raspberry ink and backed with a piece of dotted paper to match!
I mounted this a some white CS, while popping the package up on dimensional pop dots, and that lovely yellow CS base. The sentiment is from this same set, which makes this a really fun card for a friend!

More Lots of Lines

Here is another Lots of Lines card, that I just made. Beth Silaika's stamp set from Gina K Designs is such a versatile bunch of stamps. I kept this pretty CAS and know it can be used either for a masculine or feminine birthday!

9-24-13 Playing with Lot of Lines

I received some new stamps in the mail and was anxious to play with them.  My first card is sooo patriotic looking, don't you think?  It would make a little thank you note for a service member!
I used Navy CS for the base and then popped up the star image from Beth Silaika's LOTS of LINES stamp set from Gina K. Designs, which was stamped in the new red ink from GKD. The star was popped up with pop dots for dimension.   I added a few stick on gold embellishments, next to the white CS.  I wanted this to remind you of our flag!

Thank for you taking a peek at this little gift card.  Oh, it measures 3.5" on each side, if you were wondering.

  When I saw this set, I knew I would color the pennants to celebrate our Chicago Bears! Orange and Blue all the way, but they haven't won a super bowl in years *sigh* The grill just seems like what you would need to have a Tailgate Party, don't you think? I can almost smell the briquettes, not too mention the brats cooking!

   I made this card in a little different size than is normal for me.  This card measure 3.5 x 5.5", so it will still fit in a standard A2 envelope. This cat was colored with Copics to match my cat.  It really looks like him! I kept this card pretty simple adding the sentiments and the twine, for definition.

  Isn't this just adorable?  There are quite a few farms near here, so I knew I wanted you to see all three of these adorable farm animals, on the hill, by this house! I colored with my Copic markers, which was very quick.  I cut the images out and popped them up with dimensionals.  I am so glad you stopped by today!                                                                                     
                                                                                           

Inspiration Challenge CSST 9-10-2013

Look st this beautiful Inspiration that Cheri has for us this time!  Lovely Fall colors, to move us away from the hot Summer that so many have suffered through! There are so many colors from StampTV that can make your card a gorgeous creation!   If you have arrived from  Joy's blog, you are in the right place. Below this inspiration picture, you will find the card that I came up with!

Here is the card I came up with using all these Fall colors. Doesn't this make you yearn for cooler weather?  I used The Harvest of Wishes stamp set, and all cardstock is from StampTV too.  I added some ribbons and a button along with the sentiment.  The sunflower was stamped on colored CS and cut out and popped up with pop dots!

Here is a second card that I made that uses the neutrals and only a very little bit of the orange, in the flower center.  I stamped and heat embossed with Gold EP using the Summer Blooms set, from the StampTV Kit!  The sentiment is from the A Wish for You set from another StampTV Kit. I stamped with Gina's new ink also!  So happy with her ink! Welcome to the September Hop that showcases the new stamp sets from MFP/ A Heinrich Company!
This stamp set is called Koi Fish.  I made this card with a very special friend in mind.  We have been friends since 1965, and she has Koi fish in the pond behind her house!
                                                                             

I stamped these with Memento ink and then colored with Copics, using a couple of different shades.  I mounted the fish up on a blue round CS, to imitate a pond.  The sentiment is printed on a panel, that was also highlighted with orange CS to tie in the colors of the fish.  I added some plastic "air bubbles" as accents!  I am so glad you stopped by today.

A Nature's Brushstroke preview

    Here is the extra set called Nature's Brushstroke, from MFP / a Henrich Company. What a fun set to stamp with!    A little shading with Distress inks and a few buttons and it made for a simply, stunning card- with an Asian flavor to it! Back to School challenge for The Outlawz

This is a CAS card for the Back to School Challenge, for The Outlawz Paper ala Mode Challenge.
I made a simple card, the standard A2 size, with rounded corners.  The old fashioned desk was stamped on yellow CS and colored with Copics, and popped up on a white and black background, that I cut out of CS.  The stamped images and sentiment are from a set from Mark's Finest Papers called Lesson Learned, from last October.  I added a few strips of black CS, underneath the sentiment.

Friday, Sept 6, 2013 A STV Challenge Card

Here is a card I made for the STV13MON35 Challenge, using the "Fishing You the Best" stamp set that was in the StampTV kit! The sentiment for this card, was perfect, I think!  I popped up the middle fish, after I cut it out, to raise it slightly off the design.

This was an easy one to put together, using new inks and CS from StampTV too!
