Thursday, 2.23.2017 Playing with a Framescape

I was trying to make a card today, using the Framescapes Simply Spring set from Theresa Momber and Gina K. Designs.
This came together rather quickly and was a lot of fun to create this scene- without a lot of work.

Thank you for stopping by to take a peek.

Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017 More Plaid for you

More plaid in pastel colors for an Easter card.  The simple design lends itself to a more male recipient, I think.  Have a great day.

The weather here in the Midwest has been unusually mild over 60 degrees- and it is still the middle of February.  I doubt we are done with winter yet.

Thanks for visiting my creation here today.

Thurs. Feb.16.2017 Plaid Background for Easter

Using stamps from Gina K, by Beth Silaika and I watched Gina's video today to make the plaid background with a baby wipe and re- inkers. The Stamp Set is called SPRING FLING.
So much fun --- I haven't made one of these in years, since the last time Gina shared the technique with us. Check it out and play along: http://stamptv.ning.com/video/spring-fling-plaid-background

Super fun Easter card, in non traditional Spring colors!!!   The critters were fussy cut, and lightly colored with Copic markers, and then popped up on the ribbon.

MIUM- STV17MON7 Challenge 2.13.2017

I used the So Cool stamp set from Claire Brennan and Gina K. Designs to make this one layer card for the challenge to have a main focal point and then a background with the same stamp.

The center focal point was colored with Copics and all of the ice cream cones were stamped with Memento ink.    #664

Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017 RELEASE 0217 Challenge

The challenge at Gina K. Design's today is to dry emboss the background.  This is the card I came up with, uses stamps from the set called Better With You. A Cuttlebug folder was used to dry emboss the branches.  I just love that fence and the 2 cats, saying You're Purrrrfect!

So glad you could stop and take a peek.

2-8-2017 Some time to post what I have been doing

I have been making a few cards here and there, but have had to get other stuff done too. Here are some for you to see.

This last one is one I made with thoughts of my husband in mind- thinking of him as he made the trip home to Our Lord, last month.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.
