Welcome to 2015 Happy New Year -------12-31-2014

I made this Touch of Gold challenge card for STV14MON52 on StampTV.  I know it is hard to photograph but the feathers on his chest are gold glitter.  I used a base of GKD card stock.  There is also glitter containing Gold in the circle around the owl, which is from Bounty of Blessings stamp set from Gina K. Designs.

Happy New Year!!!!

Birthday Card for a dear friend 12-30-2014

I stamped the sea gull using the thumping technique. I decided to use the colors of our beloved Chicago Bears!

Have a great day!

Merry Christmas to you all

If you could see this card up close the tree sparkles with a glitter look because I colored over the Gina K Designs Christmas Pine ink, with  a Sakura Clear Star pen.. It is so hard to photograph all the sparkle, but it is there! This is for the Challenge STV14TWELVEDAYS12.
This was a Christmas morning made card.  The sentiment was from the same stamp set and stamped with GKD Faded Brick ink. A quick creation before we head out for the day!

 MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Challenge3 STV14TWELVEDAYS11

Here is a real quick challenge card, since it is Christmas Eve. This is a one layer card, per Cat's instructions!
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.

Challenge STV14TWELVEDAYS10

I made this one for the STV14TWELVEDAYS10 challenge, where I heat embossed the whole back panel before I ran it through the Cuttlebug folder and my Vagabond, to give it lots of texture.  I added a piece of Chocolate brown CS along with some gold EP on the stamped image from the Gina K Hopeful Flowers stamp set.

Well, today is Christmas Eve, and I want to wish you all the most Merry Christmas.

Challenge STV14TWELVEDAYS8 Wood Grain 12-22-2014

Here is the wood grain that I created as a BG, for my brown CD from GKD as well as the stamped image from the Petal and Wings GKD set.  I added three buttons and twine and the rope across the bottom that makes for a truly masculline looking card.  It was easy and fun to create the wood grain effect, on the CS from Gina K, and stamped with Gina's Dark Chocolate Ink.
This card came together rather quickly and I really like the muted colors.  So glad you stopped by today.

Challenge STV14TWELVEDAYS9

Here is the Challenge card I made for STVTWELVEDAYS9- Letterpress technique.  A simple card that has a lot of texture.  Thank you for visiting!

STVTWELVEDAYS7 Challenge Gatefold 12-22-2014

Here is my Gate Fold challenge, layered up with lots of clouds to add to the hot air balloon from the Petals and Wings stamp set from Gina K. After I fussy cut the balloon,  I popped up a few of the extra clouds that I cut out with my Vagabond. This was a fun challenge and I am glad I played along.

Black and White 12-20-2014

I found this zebra on my work table so I fussy cut him and mounted him up on some black CS that I ran through my Vagabond and a herringbone CB folder. The oval and the sentiment are from the Bounty of Blessings that was part of a Stamp TV kit, from a few months ago.
This is a nice card that would probably be a great male one.  We know those can be difficult to create sometimes! I am so glad you stopped by for a look today.

Challenge STV14TWELVEDAYS5 for StampTV

I used Gold EP to color the tree and add it to an oval of CS for the
Challenge STV14TWELVEDAYS5.  I haven't done a sketch challenge in a long time, so this was a lot of fun.

So glad you stopped by!

Thurs. 12-18-2014 More Christmas Wishes

I just love this little Christmas Tree from the Christmas Wishes stamp set, from GKD, so I had to make another card using it, along with some Red Gingham paper, in the background. I added some gold glitter sporadically around the tree for sparkle!

So glad you came by to visit my creation today.

Today is my sister's birthday!  Happy Birthday, Camille.

Winter Wishes for You

Isn't this a happy looking card?  I just love this little deer, that I fussy cut,  and I also really like the gingham paper from my STV kit. Thank you Gina K, for such a cute little guy.
Copic coloring added a beautiful reddish color to his coat! Scraps of CS rounded out the look I wanted to go along with the sentiment from the kit as well.

Thank you for stopping by today!

A Marble Challenge

This was for STV14TWELVEDAYS1 Christmas Challenge at StampTV.
A definitely noisy challenge but it was so much fun to do. Ink up those marbles and create a background!  I didn't have regular marbles, so I used glass marble type beads from a flower vase!

Thanks for stopping by today!

STVMON50 Gift Card 12-15-2014

This Gift Card Holder was so much fun to make. I used the GKD  Christmas Wishes stamps and colored the penguin with Copic Markers. I added a small piece of sparkly ribbon to accept the front!
I used a Magnet, to keep it closed and hide the gift card, which I tucked into the slot I made in the card stock.  A very quick project and you can make one in hardly any time at all.

Thank you for stopping by to check it out today.

12-10-2014 Mark's Finest Papers "Ice Skating" # 9043

I made another MFP card today with a Christmas flair to it, at least as far as the colors go. This stamp set has so many cool images that would make holiday cards an easy thing to create!

I wanted to replicate the swirls you make when skating, so I used a Cuttlebug folder to create the background for my skater.  Red and green accents show the Holiday season that is upon us!

Thank you for visiting!

Tag # 2 This is fun

This is another tag I created using the Spellbinders Tag die.  I added the beautiful Christmas tree, from the Christmas Wishes stamp kit. Gold Stickles and red Liquid Pearls were added to the tree before I popped it up with dimensionals on the GKS card stock.  The gold twine pulled the whole idea together I think!

So glad you stopped by to visit today!

STV Tag 2014- my first one 2014

I just got the Spellbinder build a tag die so I wanted to make my first one and it just seemed like a good idea to include this snowman, after I texturized the tag in my Vagabond and added the eyelet and twine. I colored with Copics, and added foam adhesive to add dimension.

Thanks for stopping by today!

STVFFKC4 Challenge

This is a Trio of Three that I made for the StampTV Challenge STVFFKC4.  As you can see I stamped it three times and then paper pieced all the presents!  The paper piecing was done with scraps that were on my work table, after I stamped onto the base!  The images were stamped using GKD ink, and placed on a plain white CS base.

Sat. 12-6-2014 A Sympathy Card

Today, I have a Sympathy Card to show you.  Sadly, I have to send it to a friend from High School that recently lost her older brother.  She is a real sweetheart and I wanted to send her a card with my condolences.

The background paper is some I bought locally, because the colors "spoke" to me.  The flowers were stamped with Memento ink and colored with Copics.  I fussy cut the image and mounted it on an oval cut from my Spellbinder Oval die and my Vagabond machine.
Thanks for popping in to check my card today.

Friday, 12-5-2014

Today, I am showing you a fun Christmas card I made yesterday.  On the Lipstick Red CS, from Gina K. Designs, I used the penguin and the sentiment from the Christmas Wishes stamp set.  My large snowflakes were Vagabond cut and the smaller ones were stamped using white ink from GKD. The penguin was stamped and the colored with Copics. A length of  green ribbon and rhinestones were added to balance the card.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card today.

My Stamp TV Challenge card

This is for Lee's Winter Chocolate challenge STV14MON48.  I used the brown card stock for the die cut branches and Theresa's snowman from the LET it SNOW stamp set.  I included one of her branches on the left side of the card, which was an A4 size.  The sentiment is from this set too.  This was a real fun card to create.
I hope you will play along with making a card for this challenge!
