MFP Polka Dot Country and Keys 2-28-2015

The citrus colors seemed nice and warm to me, and since it is so cold here today, this was perfect!  I used two stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers and lots of orange BG and ink that would be so different than typical red hearts that we saw for Valentine's Day.

I am dedicating this creation to my Florida friends, from very frigid Wisconsin!

Thank you for stopping by to see my card.

Sat., 2-28-2015 Time to play with misc. stamps

These were made with two misc. stamps sets that were in my craft room and couldn't be identified, so I just decided to play with them and create.  Enjoy!

An MFP creation 2-25-2015

I made this one this morning to showcase the MFP  Buddha stamp set from March 2014.

I colored with Copics and added a fan that I made using my Vagabond and a Tim Holtz die.  So much fun to visit this stamp set once again, right?

I am so glad you stopped by to visit me.

SCS Challenge F4A261 2-23-2015

I used stamps from MFP set called Lots of Luck. I used a felt shamrock that was die cut, and then I colored the image with Copics.  I accented my card with some glitter as well.

Thanks for looking!

2-23-2015 9191---Another for Challenge STV15MON8

I decided to make another card for this challenge using two different sets.  This card uses GKD Simple Things and Happy Birthday to You.  I used masculine colors and I have someone in mind to receive this one!

Thanks for looking at my second entry!

My challenge STV15MON8

I used two different stamp sets here, just as the challenge stated.  The flower is from Melanie's Fabulous Frames, which I fussy cut and popped on some dimensionals, and the sentiment is from Gina's Sympathy Label set.  I colored the flower with a mix of Copics.  The sentiment was stamped on an oval with a added ribbon bow to unite it all.

Thanks for looking!

2-23-2015 A Simple Bouquet

This is just a simple vase of flowers using the GKD Birthday Blessings stamp set, colored with my Copics, and added sponging with Distress Ink, for a shadow.  The image was mounted on GKD gingham paper and also some of her CS, in pink. I may add a sentiment later, depending on the occasion.

Time for playing today 2-22-2015

Here is a quick card I made using the Happy Birthday to You stamp set by Gina K. Designs.  I added the sentiment stamped on a tag that I cut out on my Vagabond.  Some of the elements were popped up on pop dots for dimension.  This came together and was faster than the shower my hubby was taking!
Haha- I did that very early this morning, so I had time to create in my stamp room.

I sponged a little for the background and added Stickles to the flower centers, for added sparkle and dimension.

Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday!  I am.
See you soon!

2-22-2015 Wanting Spring

These colors say Spring to me and I am having so much fun using scraps of GKD from my desk top.  The colors of paper in this Paper Pack are very calming to me!  The flower was stamped in an Olive green ink and colored with markers,  It is a simple card, that I made into a 4 x6" size this time.  Now to make an envelope to fit-

While I was going to make the envelope I decided to make a 3.5" gift card to match. Now to make both envelopes!

Fun project!

Happy and thankful that you stopped to check this out!

2-20-2015 Dancing on the Gliiter- My Outlawz Challenge card

Fantasy is the challenge and I used a set from Mark's Finest Papers, coloring with Copics, and added a strip of glitter, because all fairies need glitter, right?

Happy that you stopped by today!

An Owl with Blessings 2-19-2015

This is a quick one I made today, using Earth tone colors and a button from GKD, attached to some grosgrain ribbon.  Gina sure made a cute little owl for me to stamp.

Thank you for looking!

Feb. 19, 2015 Glittered Die Cut Out

This was made with a new to me technique.  I cut out a Spellbinder Butterfly from a piece of double sided adhesive sheet and placed on the blue card stock.  I then sprinkled with glitter which adhered beautifully.  As a long term measure I ran the glittered piece through my Vagabond to really make sure the glitter adhered.  The sentiment is from Gina K Design's Birthday Blessings stamp set, and so is the patterned paper.
I will be playing more using the double sided adhesive sheets in the future. I want to try Gold Leaf foil too.  Ooh a lot of different things to try!

So happy that you came by today.

Feb. 18, 2015 Belated Birthday in Purple

I used the GKD stamp set called Happy Birthday to You and Copic markers to color the gifts.  They were fussy cut to add interest, while watching TV.  I added a scalloped edge out of the same CS and to make it look like a "stage" for the dancing presents.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Quilted for my neighbor

I made this card after watching Gina's video this morning.  Since I have a great neighbor that loves to quilt, I thought this would be perfect to give her!  I used scraps from the Parisian Garden paper pack, along with scraps of GKD card stock too.  I placed it on a base of Asparagus CS, and onto an A4 piece of CS.  A Spellbinder rectangle took center stage with this card.

2-15-2015 Branch and Bird

I think this one would work for either gender for a birthday card,  A good one to keep handy as a just in case!  I fussy cut the leaves but the bird was cut with one of GKD's dies.  The square in the middle of the card was one in my stash.  I added a piece of gold twine to give the bird a place to rest!

Thank you for visiting today.

I made another Valentine on 2-11-2015

I used a Spellbinder Heart that I embossed with a CB folder.  I added lace and a love tag on gold twine and placed it all on a flourish that was cut out on the Vagabond years ago. Do you think it is a fun Valentine too?

2-13-2015 Alcohol Ink Heart

I used Kendra's technique to create this one.  After I dropped the Alcohol inks on the glossy card stock and let it dry, I used a Spellbinder Heart die and the Vagabond to cut out my focal point. This a 4" square, which it will make it perfect to go with a gift, perhaps with a gift of wine for a house warming!

Feb. 13, 2015 Playing once again

I was playing around with the Gina K stamp set on my desk.  I added glitter and a sentiment from the same set as the balloons. "Happy Birthday to You" is a real go-to set, that comes in handy, for all those birthday cards we need to have all year long!

Thanks for visiting today.

2-12-2015 More playing to get back on schedule

Two more cards that got made on Monday, using Melanie Muenchinger's stamp set called Fabulous Frame Fillers and the other uses GKD Warm Spring Wishes set, added to the Spellbinder scalloped circle cuts. The foam bird was sitting on my desk, so I thought I would use it, since it has been sitting around for years!
Wow- I didn't realize how blurry the first picture was.  Oh well!

I was playing with Melanie Muenchinger's stamp set on Monday and made these two cards.  The card stock is from GKD, as is the ink that I used. On the first card I used the Vagabond and a CB Thanks folder to emboss the background.

2-6-2015 Especially for You

This is a card I created using a stamp set from April, 2014. The leaves were die cut, using the new GKD dies and my Vagabond.  I cut them out from white CS and then colored them with Copic markers. The flower was fussy cut and colored with colored pencils, and glittered in the center. I apologize for the slightly blurry photo.  It has started to snow, so I didn't get a chance to take it over.

Here is another using the stamp set from the new kit.  Copic colored and popped up on dimensionals, before it was applied to GKD CS that I used for the A2 base.  I was playing with the images and the new dies.  Simple but a fun card to make.

Thank you for looking.

MSC Water Colored Blessings 2-4-2015

This was for a Challenge that said you have to use water.  I colored this flower and the leaves and used water and a brush to spread the color throughout.  The flower and the leaves are from GKD's Birthday Blessings stamp set.  The DP is from one of her packages too.  I mounted it on some black CS and added a pretty pink ribbon.

Thanks for visiting!

Knit Wit Diva 2-4-2015

I used the Knit Wit Diva stamp set.  The images were Copic colored and I fussy cut the second one and popped it up, to add dimension.
I ran the first card base through the Vagabond and a texture CB folder.  For the second one, I used a scrap of patterned paper from my stash, because I thought it looked like wallpaper!

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

STV15MON5 Challenge 2-3-2015

Lee's challenge was our interpretation of winter, so here is mine.  I used one of the adorable snowman,  from The GKD Winter Cheer set.   I like these two colors together, since they remind me of the Chicago Bears and football, in winter too. Sort of reminds me of Florida too- like orange juice?? Ha
I embossed with a snowflake EF  for the background, before I popped up the snowman on spellbinder scalloped circles.  I colored him with Copic markers and cut him out, before adding the dimensional pop dots. This sentiment is from the same stamp set.  So glad you stopped to take a peek!

Challenge STV15MON4 Gina K 2-3-2015

I made this for a challenge on the Gina K Design's site.  We were to make a card, that included a stamp with the same letter as our name.  Here is Karen and kite, from the GKD Day at the Park Diva stamp set.

Thanks for visiting!

Feb. 2, 2015 Getting ready for Valentine's Day

I made this one using the Gina K. Design "Love You" stamp set. This was a very quick to make Valentine.  With just two impressions and a little coloring with my Copic markers.  I finished the edges of the white CS by sponging a small amount of Distress ink.

I am very happy that you stopped to visit!

Feb. 1, 2015 GKD Bounty of Blessings

I was playing with supplies that were just sitting on my desk  I used the Gina K. Designs "Bounty of Blessings" stamp set.  I colored the little fox with Copic markers and fussy cut the leaves.  The sentiment is from this set too.  I am thinking this can be for a man or a woman, right?

Thank you for stopping by to take a look today!
