Tues. Oct. 10, 2017 Autumn Blessings

I used a mix of a computer generated tree, pumpkins from Theresa Momber's Fanciful Fall stamp set from Gina K. Designs and another die cut cat with a little piece of a  CB wood grain for the log, that I sponged to look like the bark on a real tree stump! I think the kitty is looking for a bird.  Hahaha

Sending out prayers to the people in California, who are affected by the wild fires.  So scary.

10.06.2017 STVKC#38 Birthday Card

I just love making cards using this little elephant from the Bella Elephant stamp set by Beth Silaika and Gina K. 10.04.2107 The Cat with the Moon

The Cat with moon and stars sure made an interesting 5.5" square card.  Some of the stars are shining with stickles glitter, in their centers!  I love the silhouette look the cat provides against the Moon.

Thank you for looking and be sure to comment , ok?

Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017 Another end of a Month

Well, things were kinda rough the last few days as my hard drive that was 7 years old, bit the dust.  So lucky to have a wonderful computer guy that came and picked up my computer and in one day got a new hard drive put in and copied everything to the new one, so I am up and running once again.  Yippeee

At least I was able to get a couple of cards made so I could post once again after my pc was good to go. I hope you will have a good weekend, as I plan on doing so.

9.12.2017 Vintage F4A394

Oh the 1970's colors- do you remember?  Very vintage and very retro!  I made this for the F4A394 for the Splitcoast Stampers challenge.  Were you old enough to remember this color palette?  My parents had these colors in their kitchen with the appliances to match! I had just graduated from high school. The first stove and dishwasher we bought after my husband and I married was the coppertone ones.

  Ages ago!

Saturday, Sept. 9. 2017 JUGS Trend Week 410

Water Color Blocks it is and this is my contribution.  After I stamped the water color blocks I added a silhouette bird and greenery to the card front.  Trend Week 410 was the motivation for me after my sweet friend showed me her card this morning. This is for the Just Us Girls 410 Trend Week Challenge.
This is rather different than the cards I usually make, but it was lots of fun making this one.  I added the sentiment to wish a Happy Birthday to the recipient.

Thank you for taking a look!

Friday, 9-1-2017 The 1st day of September, already

Happy September- and it's a Friday too!

I guess I needed to start thinking about the upcoming Holiday Season, so here is my Christmas card to start things off.

With a Spellbinders Lattice background I added the GKD (Theresa Momber) poinsettia images colored with Copic Markers.  Some glitter for the flower centers added some sparkle to spruce things up a bit.  I die cut the Lattice frame out of white CS but sponged it with Distress ink, for added dimension.  Thank you for stopping by today.

Monday, Aug. 28, 2017 Create a Scene STV17MON35

This is for challenge STV17MON35 over at StampTV.  The scene I created was a "sea"ne, with ocean water and fish from Theresa Momber's Gone Fishing stamp set.  After I fuss cut the fish I coated them with Glossy Accents.  The were mounted on a background that was water-colored and splattered with water to create the spots and bubbles.

Thank you for stopping by.

Sun. August 27, 2017 Happiness Harvest

I fussy cut all these images even though I have dies for them.  Since I was watching TV and deciding to put my scissors to use, it seemed like a fun thing to do.

I am not sure why I find this such a relaxing thing to do... but it works for me!

So happy that you stopped by for a peak.
