1.24.2018 MOD Squad Challenge entry

This time the challenge was to use "red" and I did. The stamped image is a Gina K. Design and I added a small silk flower to the design for this "LATE" Birthday Card. Three of the presents are colored red with Copics and then colored over with a Clear Glitter Gelly Roll pen.

Fri. 1-19-2018 Apple Trees

I am getting so ready for Spring and apple picking, that I made this card to tide me over!  I used stamps and dies from the Merry and Bright StampTV kit to make this card.  Thanks for taking a peak.

1.16.2018 A Daisy Birthday Card

I stamped the daisies with Theresa Momber's Daisy Delight set from Gina K. Designs.  Placed the image panel on some grass green card stock, to add a little more color and a place to show off the sentiment panel, after coloring the flowers with some Copic Markers.

Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018 Take a look- it's an easel card!

My card today is an Easel Card.  I haven' t made one in a very long time and I will have to make more since it was a fun thing to do. The flower is from Gina K. Designs, colored with Copics.  I used a Spellbinder die to create the background under the wooden stars. I put the sentiment on the back of the card with a cs star and a Happy Birthday stamped on a scalloped circle die cut. A small piece of CS attached the front to the back so it would stand up.

Easel cards are fun to make and if you haven't tried making one you really should give it a try! An unexpected treat for the recipient.

1-13-2018 A Nice Masculine Card

I decided to make another card, a super masculine card using Kraft, black and white and red card stocks.  Some added twine sets off the oval and that 3D sentiment.  I had fun making this card.

Please tell me what you think about this one!

1.12.2018 Love these 3 D Sentiments

The challenge was to make 1 vertical and 1 horizontal card for the RELEASE1218 at Gina K. Designs. I sure had a good time creating these.  Adding sentiments that were layered to make them 3D was so much fun.

Now I will make a few more similar cards to make a gift set. I hope you play along for this challenge  too.

Please let me know what you think about these cards, ok?

1-11-2018 MOD Squad Challenge

I created this A2 card in white, black and Kraft, the challenge for Gina K. Designs site.  These were super fun colors to work with. I found them very soothing- maybe because they are neutral colors!

The Cheers sentiment was cut multiple times and layered to add dimension- lots of layers, ribbon, twine and even a gem!

I finished this one with 5 days to spare-fun! I hope you leave me a comment.

Thurs. Jan. 11, 2018 SC679 Sketch Challenge

This card was made for the Split Coast SC679 Sketch.

Lots of DP, and an add sentiment die cut from a piece of sticky backed foam that I have had for a very long time. I placed it on a background cut from turquoise cs, and edged with a Copic marker.

Please comment and let me know what you think about this one.  Thanks

Mon., Jan. 8, 2018 F4A411 Seeing Stripes Challenge

This is for the Challenge F4A411 "Seeing Stripes"  at SplitCoast Stampers.  I used the flowers from Melanie Muenchinger's Stately Flowers 10 stamp set.  The striped background paper was just perfect for this challenge and as a backdrop for my oval and the flowers. A sweet Thank You card for the Spring months we will have eventually, right?
