Sunday July 31, 2016 The Bakery

This is a new stamp set from Gina K Designs, by Claire Brennan- called Petite Patisserie.
Isn't this fun?  I added 3-D elements on this card for dimension.   I love fussy cutting, such a relaxing thing to do while watching TV.   I colored with Copics as well, to create this scene, and also glittered the frosting on the cakes in the windows.

This is a combination of older stamps with a new sentiment stamp from GKD. As usual, dimensionals were used for texture. Glitter was added to the lips for sparkle. This qualifies for the Release Challenge 716.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Here is my sample for you to enjoy!

I Copic-ed the lovely flowers on a die cut oval which was then mounted on a piece of matching green card stock cut into another oval, as a base. This image is from the MFP Welcome Poppies, from the May 2012 Release.

I stamped the daisy from the Oopsy Daisy Stamp set from MFP April 2012.  I used a Spellbinder Lattice for my base, before I colored with Markers! A simple CAS, card that is easy to mail, because it is relatively flat! The Happy Birthday is from the same set so was a rather easy card to put together.
Thank you for visiting!

Saturday, July 23, 2016 Feathers for you

I love these Claire Brennan stamps from Gina K Design's.  So much fun to stamp and they do make a glorious background.  I added some real feathers to the top of the sentiment panel with a button.

I am so glad you popped in for a look today!

7.21.2016 Kraft, kraft, kraft

This was for the Mod Squad Challenge using kraft.  I embossed it with a CB folder, for texture.  The mug is from the Gina K Design set from Caroline King- Stamp it Big 2.
Glad you came by to take a peek.

Wed., July 20, 2016 Altered vase with dried arrangement

I printed out this vase from Melanie's Fill It With Flowers stamp set- but not the whole thing.  I wanted it shorter for this arrangement of Eucalyptus.

I stamped with Memento ink, and colored with Copic markers, adding edges with Zig markers. I popped up the image with pop dots and a piece of brown CS.  I added very slight sponging around the image. Some pearls were added to the corners as well.
I believe this card looks interesting -- a natural look, right?

So glad you stopped by today!

Sat., July 23, 2016 Christmas in July STV16MON29

I made this one for the Christmas in July challenge on StampTV on Monday the 18th.  I have to admit that making a Christmas card in July when our temps are nearing the 90 degree mark, is a rather interesting way to cool off, but it works.

I stamped with Memento ink, colored with Copics and Zig watercolor markers too.  I fussy cut the bow and popped it up with pop dots.  I also used some Koh-I-Nor pencils to touch up certain parts of my image. The patterned paper in the background is from a GKD Stamp TV kit.

A fun challenge you should try!  Thank you for visiting.

Monday, July 18, 2016 More inspiration for you

Three different cards to show you today using Gina K stamps and inks.  Sorry that I don't have any details to list today, since I neglected to write down the things I used.  Hope you had a great weekend.

7-14-2016 Another single FLOWER for the Challenge STV16MON28

I made another card using just a single flower for STV16MON28.  I fussy cut the flower here and used some bright papers to make this card!

July 12, 2016 STV16MON28 Challenge

The Challenge was to only use one flower- so this is the card I came up with.
Thanks for stopping by to look!

Tues., 7-5-2016 Two samples to Share Today

Here are two cards I whipped up the other day and I wanted you to see them.
Both use stamps from Gina K. Designs.  Fine Feathers by Claire Brennan, and
from Caroline King- The Stamp It Big 2 Set. Quite a bit of fun playing around with these stamps.  This is more fun than cleaning my stamp room- right?????

Thank you for taking a peek at my work today.

Monday, July 4, 2016 Independence Day

Wishing you all a safe and Happy July 4th.  This is a very old stamp set called American Made by Mark's Finest Papers, that I bought back in 2011. The background was water colored with Zigs, and after I stamped and colored the American Eagle I placed it on a dimensional raised panel, that I edged in gold paint. The Liberty tag was heat embossed in gold to tie it all together.

Have a great day!

I water -colored the background, then gently colored the eagle with Copics, and popped it up on an additional piece of CS.  Then heat embossed the tag in Gold Embossing Powder.
Have a safe and Happy Fourth of July!   Go USA!

July 3, 2016 By the Sea, Theresa Momber- Gina K. Design's Stamps

There are two creations for you to see today.  I used Theresa Momber's By the Sea 2 stamps.
The first card was water colored, and then I fussy cut that sailboat.  I placed it on dome dimensionals, so I could have the water in the background, and the second one has a doily background, behind the lighthouse, which was from Theresa's set also.

So glad you visited today.  Have a wonderful July 4th Holiday!

Sat., July 2, 2016 another Feather card

Here is another card I made with Claire Brennan's Fine Feathers stamp set from Gina K. Designs. Nothing very complicated, a rather simple design, but one that expresses how I feel, when I want someone to feel better soon.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Fri., 7.1.2016 Hello Bird in his House

I used the Stamp It Big set by Caroline King, from Gina K. Designs.  Stamped and paperpieced, popped up parts on dimensionals, after I sponged the A2 base card.

Thank you for visiting!
