Tues., June 30, 2015 Birthday in Pink

A Happy Pink Birthday card, using images and leaves from Gina K. Designs.  The flower was from The Birthday Blessing set.  I heat embossed in white and then sponged on the color.
 Pearl accents really make this a feminine card!

Mon., June 29, 2015 Large Butterfly

This was made using a very large butterfly that I had cut out with my Cameo, ages ago .  At least I think that is where I made it, and since I found it on my desk, I thought I'd use it, to make nice feminine creation. The bling was the last to be added to make this sparkle!

Sunday, June 28, 2015 Pretty Bird

Here is a CAS card with the gorgeous bird from the Vertical Greetings 2 , by Theresa Momber at Gina K. Designs.  There are so many great stamps in this set.  I stamped with Memento ink, colored the bird and flowers, with Copic markers, and then popped them up onto a circle of DP.  I added a vertical sentiment on a scalloped Spellbinder rectactangle, to even out the design.  I sure appreciate you looking at my work today!

Sat., June 27, 2015 Challenge cards

These are two cards I made for the STV15MON23 challenge , earlier this month.

We were to make our own background paper which I stamped and colored before adding the focal points.  These were a lot of fun to create.

This is a stamp with a mystery, since I have no idea where I got it.  It is years old, but still is a good sentiment.  The other elements were also from the I have no idea pile on my desk. But I am happy with how this turned out!

Friday, June 19, 2015 Using The Triple Play Frame

This was a fun card to make and hopefully I can then decide who to send it to.  I used a Gina K Design's stamp set called Triple Play Frame, by Melanie.  Simple coloring with Copics for the heart and butterflies, which were popped up for dimension.
A little ribbon and twine finished it off, after I added the little tag stamped with "wish".

Thurs. June 18, 2015 Take a peek at this one!

I love these colors for a feminine birthday card. I used the Elegant Florals 2 stamp set with Memento inks.  The flowers were done with EP, so I decided to not color them.  I just cut them out and used as is.  Scraps of DP were able to fill the card front and make it interesting, don't you agree?

A card I made as an Encouragement, when I am so proud of someone.  I love the colors I used to create this-it just makes me smile.

 I made this one- a wedding card-this morning.  I added a few gems and pearls to frill this up a little.  I ended up mounting this card onto an A2 card base- a card within a card so to speak.  A fun look!

Monday, June 15, 2015 Anniversary Butterflies

I silver embossed the butterflies, before I cut the dies out on the Vagabond machine.  I used two different but complimentary papers along with some ribbon and a bow.  The butterflies are from GKD's Birthday Blessings and the sentiment from last June's Fabulous Frame set by Melanie Muenchinger.  Just a nice and simple anniversary card!  Yes, the pair of butterflies to remind you of a "couple" celebrating their wedding.

My sister called me a few weeks ago to make a card and box for our cousin's 8th grade graduation.  I made this box and card a few weeks ago, but I couldn't post it right away!
I think this turned out so well. Yes, his school colors are green and white. The box/hat is a 4" square so it can hold a small gift,  What a fun mortarboard as part of the gift, right?

I made this one using the Cuddles and Hugs stamp set by Melanie Muenchinger, that I have had for a very long time. I think she released it back in 2009.   I love this set and I had a lot of fun coloring these little guys with Copics.

Fri., June 12, 2015 Birthday Blessings in Black and White

I had some time today,  so I created this one in black and white.  I used the GKD Birthday Blessings stamp set and then used the die to cut out the butterfly with my Vagabond.  This can be used as either a feminine or a masculine card, making it a very versatile card!

6-11-2015 Look at this one I took to the Doc's office today!

I gave it to the Receptionist - she and I clicked a few years ago since her name is also Karen. I thought she would get a kick out of this card and she loved it!

 This pretty Bird image was colored with Copics against a bg made with the fern stamps in the Theresa Momber Vertical Greetings 2 stamp set.  I added the die cut branch and the textured ribbon.  The With Love sentiment is from the same stamp set!

This is a masculine Thank you for two wonderful neighbors that invited me to dinner last night. I made this card with them in mind.  I used the rose from Frame and Flowers 2 set from Gina K. Designs. I used Gina's die cut to cut out the rose, the leaves and also for the filigree corner!

I used an Oval cut with Spellbinder's,  with a scallop.  I stamped in GKD Kraft ink on placed this Theresa Momber image on a Navy CS base.  This dandelion is from the Elegant Florals 2 stamp set and the little sentiment from the Triple Play Frame set by Melanie Muenschinger.

I used Theresa Momber's Vertical Greetings 2 to make this card.  I fussy cut the flowers and then colored them with Copics.  A simple but stunning card, I think!

 I kept things pretty CAS, for this birthday card, while only popping up the bird on the branch.

 I stamped and then water-colored these wonderful flowers from Theresa Momber's Vertical Greeting 2 stamp set. I fussy cut the flowers and popped them up on the Frame and Filler stamp, which was stamped in Mustard Yellow ink.  Happy Hugs for someone special.

 It seems like I am making quite a few new cards lately, more than I have in months.  These both were made with stamps and dies from Gina K. Designs.  I had fun creating on a day where it was cloudy and drizzling.  A great way to ignore the weather!
