Tues., Dec. 29, 2015 Big Hippo Thank You

I made this one as a thank you for the dinner invitation that was extended to us on Sunday.  Our wonderful neighbors invited us to dinner.  It has been too long since we have seen them, and we are so glad they extended the invite last weekend. I hope they like this card as well as the others I gave them. I am thinking I need to add a little patch of grass or dirt to give the hippo something to stand on! Yes, I will do that now!

Mon. 12.28.2015 Happy Bird Day!

This is one I quickly whipped up with the Beth Silaika 's Hippo Bird Day stamp set from Gina K. Designs.  Such fun stamps! Fussy cut, and popped up on  card stock that was run through a Cuttle Bug Dotted Swiss folder and layered on some pink card stock.  CAS but eye catching!

Wed., 12-23.2015 Polka Dot Challenge

This one is for the polka dot challenge at StampTV.  STV15MON51.  My take contains some swiss dotted DP, in addition to the larger dots that were cut out on the Vagabond, using Spellbinder dies and a circle of dotted patterned paper I had on hand,  This is a fun Happy Birthday creation that I made on Monday, right when the challenge was posted.

Tues., Dec. 22, 2015 Let It Snow

I stamped with the Let it Snow stamp set by Theresa Momber, with white ink on black card stock.
We haven't any snow on the ground yet.  What we did have a while back was very little that melted quickly.  Weather reports are saying we may possibly reach 70 degrees, in the next few days. That is so very strange for the weather here in Wisconsin, for the week before Christmas!

Mon. 12.21.2015 Anniversary For February

I whipped this card yesterday to have on hand for a specific occasion, should someone need it. To have it ready just in case....
I used stamps from Gina K. Designs along with a scalloped heart I die cut, and was able to use the negative to sponge and create a background, for the mugs.

Mod Squad Challenge 12.16. 2015 Anything but Christmas

Allison's Ribbons at the bottom edge of a Tim Holtz piece of glassine that I ran through an embossing folder.  The sentiment and the rectangle is Gina K. That was heat embossed for texture.

Dec. 10, 2015 STV15MON49 Challenge

This is the All that Glitters Challenge -  it was tough to get a photo of all that shine, but the snowflake is glittered and the sentiment is heated gold embossing powder, with an added gold colored gem in the snowflake center!

I made this one this morning to play in the MOJO Monday 427 Challenge.

 
I used stamps from Gina K Design's Season's Greeting set.  I like this little group of snowmen that would be a perfect Christmas wish from a family of four!

Mon. 12-7-2015 Arranged with Love

I used the Arranged with Love stamp set to create this sweet card. Gina K's Melanie Muenchinger designed a beautiful floral arrangement for this stamp set, right?

Here is another one using this stamp, with a different sentiment and differently colored flowers.  I also colored the background for this card.  Thank you for leaving comments.  I sure appreciate them.

I used Gina K. Design's Make A Statement stamp set.  This was a lot of fun to make!

Playing today 12.5. 2015

I created these two using Gina K Design stamps, some heat embossed snowflakes and sponging on the reindeer card. A snowman colored with Copics and raised up on a base that was embossed with a CB folder and my Vagabond machine.  Fun and just playing around today.

Pink and bling challenge for GKD using an image and Copics from the By Your Side Set.  I added rhinestone for the bling, and colored the flowers pink!

 I used the stamp set from Gina K's Birthday Wishes set. I added a strip from Alison's Ribbon  die cut as a strip across the card's width.

Wed., 12- 2- 2015 A CASE Card

Jennifer McGuire inspired me to make this card.  I used a punch to make the little envelopes and also for the hearts which were punched then colored. The sentiment and the patterned paper are from Gina K. Designs.

 Thinking this could be a Valentine or maybe an anniversary card! 

Tues. 12-1-2015 Christmas Gold with Snowflakes

Lots of gold snowflakes, some heat embossed with gold and silver and one that was die cut with
gold cs, resting on GKD designer paper.  I used a Spellbinder circle with scallops as a background for the snowflakes and the sentiment, with a die cut ribbon that runs the width of the card.
