Triple Play in Lilacs and one more GKD 3-29-2015

Just a simple CAS creation using Melanie's Triple Play Frame stamp set for the heart and sentiment.  I added some matching twine and a lace corner, that was cut with my Vagabond machine.

Here is another one made while just playing around.  Melanie's stamp set is so much fun to play with!

Thank you for stopping by to take a look!

Mar. 27, 2015 Mother's Day Card with Elegant Florals 2

Here is a quick Mothers Day card that I made this morning.  I sure hope my mom will like it. I just have to remember that I made her one and I have to give it to her in May!
I used the Elegant Florals 2 stamp set and colored it with Copics, before I mounted it on Spellbinder Ovals.  I sponged the larger oval, to tie all my colors together!   A fun card to make!

Thanks for taking a look!

Playing with new stamps 3-27-2015

I used Khaki color ink, with some  Stormy Blue for shading, on the dandelion stamp from the GKD set called Elegant Florals 2 by Theresa Momber.  This came together rather quickly and will be a wonderful birthday wish for either male of female!

Thanks you for stopping by to check it out.

3-26-2015 First creation with new stamps

I made this one, this afternoon, after I received my new sets.  One from Melanie and the other from Theresa. I had a lot of fun creating this card with the tulips and Copics to color them.   I fussy cut the flowers so I could pop them up on that fabulous BG, which I colored with Copics. A touch of ribbon completed the card.

Mar. 24, 2015 Sent With Love GKD's STV KIT

This is a card I whipped up this afternoon, using the Sent With Love stamp set from Gina K Designs kit, January 2011.  The images were added and popped up on a CB heart background.  I only had to color a very little with gray and red Copics, after I stamped with Memento Black ink.
Here is another one made today.  I was on a roll, I guess!

Thank you for stopping by!

Birthday card in neutral colors 3-19-2015

The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the GKD Birthday Duo mini stamp set.  I used lots of neutral color papers as well as neutral color flowers.  I stamped the sentiment in Memento Brown and backed the CS with brown  GKD CS, before I popped it up.
 Thanks for looking!

Mar. 18, 2015 Spring Birthday Card

This was a quick one made with images from Theresa Momber's Vertical Greetings set, colored with Copics and fusy cut and popped up on a pretty patterned paper from GKD, that was cut out with a Spellbinder die.  Some green pp, to anchor and complete the card!

Hope you have a great day and I am very glad you stopped to visit today.

March 17, 2015 Reminds me of High School- "Top O' the Morning to Ya"

Since I graduated from St. Patrick Academy, back in '69 - these Irish colors have always been important to me.  I always have fun working with the Green and Gold !!! Oh, and then there are the Shamrocks!!!!  Yippee!
On a side note, our class was the last one before they closed and tore down the building. That was so sad, but the nice thing are the wonderful friendships that are still there almost 50 years later.
By most standards it was a small school of only about 600 girls.  Only 133 graduated with us that last year!  Fabulous memories, I tell ya!

3-14-2015 This was for a Chalkboard Challenge

The Funday Friday Challenge at StampTV was a lot of fun for sure, as I tried to create a chalkboard look for my card.  Let me know if I did it, ok?

I used the Birthday Go-Round stamp set from GKD, and used the white ink pad, from GKS too.
I kept the entire card in chalkboard colors, making this perfect for either male or female, perhaps a teacher?  Thanks for stopping by to take a look!

3-13-2015 Mark's Finest Papers ----Crisp Winter

This was a creation that I made today using the Crisp Winter stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers.  I added a few clouds for dimension, and to tie in the blue CS, to the rest of the card. This is a nice winter card and not connected to any holiday!

So glad you visited today!

Butterfly for Spring 3-12-2015

Thank you for checking in to see my card.  I used the GKD stamp set from the STV kit, and it is called Warm Spring Wishes.  I colored with Copics and popped the butterfly up on  a scalloped Spellbinder Oval, which was sponged on the edges.  The base card was embossed with a CB folder.

So glad to see you here!

Challenge STV15MON9 Tropical Paradise

Fun challenge, Donna.  I had fun making this since it brings back so many memories of my uncle that lived in Hawaii for a lot of years. Oh, all the Kona coffee and chocolate covered Macadamia nuts, he would send us.  Yummy!

I used the Aloha Diva stamp set, and colored with Copics.  The flowers were fussy cut after I colored them.  I popped them up for dimensional effects.

Thanks for visiting.
