Sketch Challenge from mojomonday486---
mojomonday.blogspot.com. I used a Claire Brennan sentiment from Sweet Thing stamp set from Gina K. Designs as the focal point along side the silk flower. Thank you for visiting and I hope you leave a comment for me.
I was trying to make a card today, using the Framescapes Simply Spring set from Theresa Momber and Gina K. Designs.
This came together rather quickly and was a lot of fun to create this scene- without a lot of work.
Using stamps from Gina K, by Beth Silaika and I watched Gina's video today to make the plaid background with a baby wipe and re- inkers. The Stamp Set is called SPRING FLING. So much fun --- I haven't made one of these in years, since the last time Gina shared the technique with us. Check it out and play along: http://stamptv.ning.com/video/spring-fling-plaid-background Super fun Easter card, in non traditional Spring colors!!! The critters were fussy cut, and lightly colored with Copic markers, and then popped up on the ribbon.
I used the So Cool stamp set from Claire Brennan and Gina K. Designs to make this one layer card for the challenge to have a main focal point and then a background with the same stamp.
The center focal point was colored with Copics and all of the ice cream cones were stamped with Memento ink. #664
The challenge at Gina K. Design's today is to dry emboss the background. This is the card I came up with, uses stamps from the set called Better With You. A Cuttlebug folder was used to dry emboss the branches. I just love that fence and the 2 cats, saying You're Purrrrfect!
