GKD Yoga Image in Blues on white CS.

Mar. 14, 2016 Splitcoast Challenge F4A316

Focal image was to be yellow for Challenge F4A316 on SplitCoast,
 so I came up with this image from Gina K. Designs and Debbie Corbari, called Balanced Diva.  I also made this to give to a dear friend that was looking for a Yoga image. I colored with Copics and popped the scalloped oval up for dimension.  Namaste sentiment says it all, just below the ribbon embellishment.

 So glad you stopped to take a look!

Mar.12, 2016 Lovely Lavender Flowers Hello

I made this one yesterday.  Fussy cut all of it and added a hello greeting, done in shades of lavender. I needed to wait for some Daylight to be able to take a photo for this post. The image is from Theresa Momber's Stamp Set called Birds and Blossoms 2.

Mar. 10, 2016 Playing with a Giraffe Stamp

This is a new stamp from Gina K. and it sure has been fun playing with the image.  With the addition of the fence on the one card, it seems to also scream for a balloon that is floating away too. The first one was colored with pencils and Copics for the second one.

Tues., March 1, 2016 Remembering my High School colors

Green and gold brings back so many memories, especially all the wonderful friends that were made way back then.  Since we were the last Graduating Class before the school closed and was torn down, we are a very close group of girlfriends, and that was back 47 years ago!

Mon. 2-29-2016 Happy Leap Day

The tree is a Memory Box die that has been in my craft room for years, but seems so new to me,  I die cut the tree with GKD black cs and added a sentiment from Theresa Momber's stamp set called the Giving Tree, that I bought back in December 2010.   I still like it and it works with my tree die cut!

So glad you visited my blog today! A Leap Day that happens only every so many years!

Sun. 2-28-2016 My take on Theresa's card

This is my CAS that was made after watching Theresa Momber's video on Wednesday.  The branch was die cut though using a Memory Box die that I have had for years, and I used black CS to cut it out.  The little bird and the sentiment are from Theresa's stamp set called The Giving Tree that I have had for years.

The sky was sponged with various shades of pink and lavender ink.  I popped up my panel on GKD black CS.

Thank you Theresa, for all your inspiration.

Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016 Happy Birthday with Zig Watercolors

Here is the first card I made and colored with my new Zig water color markers.  A simple first try and I have to admit that it was fun using them on this Gina K. Design stamp of the potted plant. I added some green gems to tie the colors together for the card front.  A fun card that would work either for a male or a female recipient.

The texture on this one is marvelous.  Spring Things from MFP set on a background Lattice diecut that was cut on my Vagabond.  The flowers and the bunny and butterfly were all colored with Copics and fussy cut so I could pop them up on some dimensional pop dots.  I will be sending this one to a special friend and I hope she will like it!

Isn't this a lovely Get Well card?  It would be great for a man or a woman.  I used the You Are Cherished stamp set from  MFP  from January 2012.  I am loving using these older sets. They are still so much fun to use and color too.

Feb. 22, 2016 Playing with Waterolors with a Thank You note

I used a butterfly from Gina K. Designs and then colored it using my ZIG watercolor markers.

Friday, Feb. 19, 2016 Thanks for taking a look!

Today's card is a 4" square, that would be a good one to include with a small gift.  I once again used stamps from Gina K. Designs, and white ink, and some Copics that I colored the cake with,  The cake bottom was cut after I stamped it on patterned paper, I then colored the "frosting" with Copic markers, and some white ink dots.

Isn't this a cute little card?

Feb. 15, 2016 Challenge MOJO435 Karen K.

 I made this one for the MOJO 435 Challenge and used stamps from Gina K. Designs a  Made with Love sentiment stamp stamped on a scalloped circle, in the same card stock.
I added a tine bow for interest.  A fun Thank You card!

Happy Valentine's Day Feb. 14, 2016

I made these to share with you when I had time on Friday, using a GKD stamp set, some die cuts and a silk flower that I have had for eons!.

 This is a regular A4 size card and the matching Thank You card is a 4" square.

Sat. Feb 13, 2016 MFP LOVE x 3

I am going to share another card made with Kraft colored CS and the MFP stamp set called Love, Love, Love, from Jan. 2013.  So appropriate for the upcoming Valentine Day holiday.

 I made this using neutral colors of ink and markers, and very different that the pink and red usually seen for this Holiday!
Here is another card I whipped up yesterday, using pink accents though, and with a stenciled background, kept it pretty simple so it can be used for a Valentine or any other occasion of Love!

Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 MFP - a set from Love, Love, Love Jan. 2013

I have made another card suitable for Valentine's Day, and this one uses stamp images from MFP's Love, Love, Love stamp set.  This has so many wonderful images that will never go out of style!
Great for many occasions, not just Valentine's Day.  I stamped with black ink and then colored this gorgeous flower with some Copic markers. These sentiments are from this same set too.

Wish Big with a Celery Printed Rose

Yes, I inked up the end of the celery stalk that I had cut, and used it for a stamp.  This is exactly how I started my stamping life years and years ago.

MOJOMonday434 Challenge entry 2-8-2016

This is my entry for the MOJO Challenge 434.  I used the sentiment from the Harvest of Wishes set from Gina K. Designs, the mug image I found online that I printed and cut out before adhering with dimensionals.  The coffee rings were made using a real coffee mug that was dipped in a mix of Memento ink mixed with a few drops of water.

Feb. 8, 2016 Valentine Scallops

This is one I made while just playing around, but I like it a lot.
I used Scalloped Hearts by Spellbinder for my die cuts, and added a cardboard button and some twine, to make things more festive. I also added a strip across the top made with Allison's Ribbon Die, that had lots of little hearts.

A Special Day today 2-6-2016

Today is my hubby's birthday!  Happy Birthday, Sweetheart!

Thurs. Feb.4, 2016 Our Cats, I Believe

This stamp from Gina K. Designs, really makes me think of our two cats.  I love this stamp! It is from The "Made with Love" STV kit.  I kept the center pretty plain, except for the stamped image in Black ink and after edging it in black marker I centered it on a scrap marble printed piece of DP, that was on my desk.  I made this one last night but had to wait until daylight today to get the photo,

This is another challenge  but this time for MOJO432, a different sketch.  I used the Massive Messages stamp set again, from Gina K.

MOJO433 Challenge Feb. 1, 2016

I stamped with Massive Messenges from Gina K. Designs, and used Designer Paper from GKD "berries and vines" paper pack as my background. A Spellbinder die provided the flowers and the circle base, colored with Copic ink.

Monday, Feb. 1, 2016 Look at this one!

I played a little yesterday and what a fun Sunday it became.  I used my new GKD inks and some stamps from my last order and this is what I came up with.  I am so happy with the way this one turned out.
