I made this card for my friend and neighbor who has a fabulous hobby of quilt making. They are beautiful works of art.
I hope Jo Ellen will like this card.  I will  give it to her when we go out to dinner tonight with our husbands.

11.12.2016 Embossed Winter Scene

This is a sweet winter scene made with stamps from Home for the Holidays set from Gina K. Designs.  I popped up the image on a back ground of CB' d Swiss Dots, to sort of resemble snow.

Nov. 11, 2016 Gold Foiled Birthday

I used a foiled sentiment from Gina K. on black CS with touches of gold ribbon and brads.  This turned out to be a rich looking birthday card. 
Laminating with gold foil made this is easy to do on the laser printed sentiments, and was able to keep this as a CAS creation.

This is another card for the STV16MON45 challenge to use a tree.   These are stamps from Gina K. Designs, colored with Copics and stamped with Memento ink.

Mon. Nov. 7, 2016 Summer Fun

The weather here in Wisconsin is rather warm for a November day--almost 70 degrees!  This inspired me to create a card that reminded me of a summer day.

I used stamps from Gina K.'s Claire Brennan called My Island.

11.06 2016 Getting ready for Christmas

 I spent some time playing today and came up with these 2 cards.  I used stamps from Gina K. Designs. The first one is for challenge STVKC#27, and to have a matching tag, with the card.

Nov. 3, 2016 World Series Winners

So happy for the Chicago Cubs win.  Did you know I was born in Chicago and lived there until I was 14?  My dad was a Chicago Police Officer when I was a kid!

Thurs. Nov. 3, 2016 MCS Lots of Gold

Wed. Nov. 2., 2016 More using Foil

Since my laminating machine was still hot the other day, I went ahead and worked with foil again.  So much fun and such an elegant look for my cards!

I added the gold bow and colored the circle edge with gold metallic ink, and popped the embellie up on textured CS.  Looks great doesn't it?

Tues., Nov. 1, 2016 A Foil Challenge STV16MON44

Foiling is getting easier all the time.  I did find out sometimes I don't let the laminator get hot enough- and I now let it heat up about 20-30 minutes and my results are wonderful. There are two slightly different photos at different angles.

I used Claire's "stocking" that I was able to download and using my high school colors, I created a totally different Christmas Stocking Card on a embossed CS background that I edged with Gold ink.

To Thank a friend, I used the stamp set called Ivy and Blossoms from December 2012- colored with markers and distress ink for sponging- on this bookmark, that was put on the card with temporary adhesive, after I added a little twine at the top. The image and the sentiment are both from the Ivy and Blossoms set.
