Mon., Sept. 26, 2016 For the New Grandparents

Our dear friends are becoming Grandparents for the first time so I wanted to make a card for them, to mark the occasion .  Yes, we are thrilled for them. The Grandpa's late mother, made my prom dresses in high school, my headdress for my first wedding, and was so special to me, for my whole life.  I am so glad that our friendship has continued with his sweet wife, and that they live only 15 minutes from us now.  We are thrilled for this new adventure in their life.

Sun., Sept. 25, 2016 A Colorful Butterfly Thank You

Here  is a Thank You card that I made yesterday- a CAS card design even though the butterfly was colored with lots of different Copic colors and some added glitter as well.  I used dimensionals to raise the butterfly up a bit.
The card edges were sponged to give this a sky look.

Thank you for visiting my blog today!  Have a great Sunday.

9.23.2016 Masked Flowers

I watched Gina's video on masking today and decided to try it.  I haven't done one of them in eons, so I had a fun time making this card.  Think it turned out pretty good?

I will truly appreciate any comments you leave for me, about this card and the masking technique I used here!

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look!

Fri. Sept. 23, 2016 Halloween Birthday Wishes

Look st this yummy Halloween inspired cupcake from Claire Brennan and Gina K Designs.  Off to the side, on a separate piece of CS, I added a sentiment by Theresa Momber's Vertical Greetings stamp set. Not sure if you can see it, but there is a touch of glitter on the cupcake's frosting!

Thank you for visiting today.

Wed. Sept. 21, 2016 Love This Owl

I started making this one yesterday and finished it this morning, after I thought about the layout.  Some patterned paper on the oval, and another Spellbinder one with CB leaves.  I colored the image with Copics and used dimensional to pop it up a bit.  I actually decorated the inside of this one too!

Thanks for visiting my blog.

Sat., Sept.17, 2016 Happy Fall

I had so much fun creating this card yesterday and couldn't wait to show it to you.. I just love those critters, and fussy cut them for interest, on top of that piece of patterned paper.  These Gina K. stamps are just so much fin to work with.
Haha, think maybe the Happy Fall sentiment was really meant for that squirrel carrying a giant acorn??

I just finished this one so had to add it to this post.

Thank you for comments you may leave me!

Today is the last summer Holiday for us, and I am celebrating with a card that showcases Ice cream treats by Clair Brennan and Gina K. Designs. This is the So Cool stamp set.

9.1.2016 SC608 Sketch Rotated

This was made for the Splitcoast SC608 Sketch.  I used foil, running it through my laminator, and added a few brads and such to finish off this sketch, after I rotated my design, still using the idea of the sketch.

Tues. August 30, 2016 SP Hugs

This was made with a cat stamp that was on my desk, and I decided to use my high school colors with supplies from Gina K.
