Guess who I saw????

I spent a wonderful brunch on Saturday and met my dear friend, her hubby, and her son's girlfriend.  My Hubby and I drove to a few town's over and met up with them before they flew back to Arizona, where they live.  I didn't get to see Vicki last year, because of my health issues, but am so glad we were able to do this again though!  They were in the area to get their son graduating from the Naval Base.  Congrats to the new Sailor!!!!

Tues. April 23, 2013-- Spring Has Sprung Challenge Blog Hop

I have decided to make a Get Well Soon card, for you today. If you arrived here from JOY'S blog, you are in the correct place!

 I have used the frame from the Petals and Wings StampTV set.  I stamped it in Black Onyx ink on Bubblegum Pink cardstock from StampTV. The sentiment was heat embossed in Pink EP, to match.
 I used some Black Onyx CS as the mounting panels.  I added a few brads and a StampTV Double Stitched piece of Back Ribbon as an accent, for my flower.

I sure like these Peacocks- coloring them with Copics was so much fun, and really easy.  Adding the sentiment "I'm Proud of You" makes a great card to send for so many occasions.  I sponged the edges with Distress Ink and popped  the image onto a beautiful turquoise CS, after I cut it into an oval with a Spellbinder's die.  I lined the inside with white CS, which was stamped with a peacock feather image.

I think this would be a wonderful card for a man.  It is so difficult to create masculine cards sometimes.  I stamped the images with Memento ink and colored with my Copic Markers.  The greenery on top of the tall column is a separate image.  The green strip on the bottom was run through an embossing folder.

CSS Inspiration Hop April 9, 2013

Today we have a wonderful sketch that Brenda gave to us to work with.This sketch has so many places to look, and see creativity.

Here is my card, using StampTV's set called  Shine On, from the newest StampTV Kit.  The flowers were cut by hand and colored with Copic B45.  I did color the rest of the images with Copics, as well. I added StampTV ribbon along with the CS I used.

Today, I have a card to show you that I made for StampTV's Mix it Up Monday Challenge, STV13MON13.  Oh no, I find puns very funny and I hope you will too.

Inside this card, it says "hope it's grape".  I used 3 Stamp sets for this card.  The Day At The Park Diva, by Debbie Carbari, Poster Board Sentiments, By Rebbeca Oehlers, and STV's Birthday Hoot sets.  I embossed the bottom strip with the Polka Dots folder, and cut out the balloons and the girl, by hand.  I added some glitter dots, for interest, above the girl!  I am so glad that you popped over here today!
