Tues. 7.30.2019 F4A491 Challenge

Here is the card I made for Splitcoast  F4A491  Base + 1  

I cut the scalloped oval and then on the inside added the stork.  The sentiment panels were added to the edge of the oval die cut with dimensionals. The image was stamped with GKD amalgam ink and colored with Copic markers. The stork was fussy cut and glued to the card inside.

Monday, July 22, 2019 Heavy Heart today

Today, I had to say good bye to my 17 year old cat.  Sam was such a sweet cat, but wasted away and was so ill recently.  He will be missed as he was such a good guy.

This is a photo from 2002, when he first joined our family.  My other cat seems to be wondering where he is, as she is looking all over the house. It sure will be strange to only have 1 cat now.

He went to the Rainbow Bridge.

Thurs. July 11, 2019 For a long ago dance partner....

I made this card with a previous dance partner in mind.  Line dancing and country music from years ago.   Many dance steps and songs from years ago! I am happy that so many of those  songs are still around and bring fun memories to the forefront. I should start dancing again, as the exercise is great for weight loss too.

This one fulfills a number of challenges.  CAS541 Tiny Things,  ScorPal 61 Anything Goes (Patriotic) and MOD Squad Red, White and Blue.   I used the flower center from GKD Something Good in Every Day by Lisa Hedrick. Gold twine and some die cut sentiments make this red, white, and blue happy patriotic a card.  Thank you for visiting.
