One layer cards are a challenge to many, and used to be for me, as well. Now, I just find them a lot of fun! Participating in the OLW challenges has also helped me with CAS cards. If you shy away from them, you should really give it a go-it's so freeing and gives you a chance to ink of some of the stamps in your collection that have never touched an ink pad. Really-you have some of those, don't you?
This stamp is a new one from Gina K's latest StampTV kit called "True Love". The images are ones I will use A LOT! For this card, I only inked up part of the stamp since I wanted to change the words on the sheet of paper. I have a bunch of ideas, using this again with some of the teeny sentiments I have.
I was so happy with this image, that I made another card for the Outlawz CAS012212 challenge. This time I used a panel and made a square card, measuring 4.25". I like this one better!!! I think I should have added a ribbon or something to the first card, for better balance.
Glad you stopped by!

Karen, Somehow I missed yesterday's posting, so I'm playing catch up. All of your cards yesterday were just beautiful. You did an outstanding job on that heart. Your two cards today are right up my alley. First off because I remember that type of typewriter and secondly because clean and simple is my all time favorite layout for a card. It would be very hard to pick one today's cards as a favorite, but if I had to I think I have to go with you on this one. I like the second card also. Enjoy your day.
Both of your CAS cards are great, Karen! Very eye-catching designs!
These cards are awesome, Karen. I love, LOVE, CAS cards! They are my all-time favorite, yet I haven't done a one-layer in a long time, so I'm going with it soon. Thanks for the inspiration, gf! ;D
Great job on both! I still need to get ink on my typewriter!!
You're on a roll, GF! I love both of them.
