Mon.Oct. 17, 2016 It was a GREAT GKD Weekend- woohoo !

This was a whirlwind weekend at Gina's store, with Gina, her husband Tom, Melanie and Theresa for lots of learning and visiting and meeting so many wonderful ladies and one man that was a student with us I had so much fun.  I am so happy that I am only an hour or so away, but many people came from all over the country! Some drove long hours and some flew here.

This first Gina weekend event was worth every penny.
The Hampton Inn, where most spent the weekend, had provided us with such great service and terrific place to collapse each night.  They were wonderful to us!

We learned so much- great techniques and tons of goodies. This post contains the pics I took- both of some of the instructors, followed by the cards I made in the classes.  ENJOY!

                                                                 Karen Hightower
                                              Theresa, Gina and Melanie
                                                                Theresa and Regina Cooper
                                                     Theresa Momber and Karen Knegten
Melanie and Theresa, and the wine-hahaha
                                                                     Melanie and Theresa

Sorry for the very full post and since I was so anxious to give you a taste I didn't edit or crop these photos, but I hope you like looking at them.

Can you leave me a comment????

Hi Karen,
Thanks for the great post about this past wonderful weekend. I can only totally echo your sentiments. I enjoyed having lunch with you on Saturday. Thanks for sharing how you organize the pictures of your cards. I may borrow your idea. You are so lucky to live close enough that you can visit the shop occasionally.

Great photos and wonderful cards. Thanks for sharing. Now I am really jealous but getting there from Canada isn't really feasible unless one is wealthy enough to be able to spend what ever one wants whenever one wants.
