Mon. June 13, 2011 Father's Day card

Good Morning!  Sadly, my Dad has been gone since 2004, and I miss him still, every day.  I wanted to make a Father's Day card for my darling DH.  He has two sons, but has always treated my daughter and son, as his own.

When we got married 10 years ago, he went out and bought chocolate cigars to give to our wedding guests. Thinking that he had weddings and births confused, I asked him why he got the cigars.  He answered "because today I have a new daughter and a son".  Isn't that just the sweetest thing???

Here is the card I made to give to him next Sunday.  The sentiment is from Mark's Finest Papers "Big Boy Toys" stamp set.

As you can see I made the shirt with a dollar bill.  Instructions for this origami design are HERE.  Thank you for visiting today!

Great card Karen! Your hubby definitely sounds like a keeper! I made these folded shirts for my boys when they were in college for their birthdays. They always appreciated the extra money (bigger bill than a one. LOL!) Have a wonderful week!
