Today, I have another Christmas card to show you. The focal image is an old stamp that I have had for years now. I sponged the bg, added some chalk and some stickles- a few ho, ho, ho words, lace and buttons. Actually, this went together quickly. I am pleased with how it turned out-what do you think?

Mon. Nov. 29, 2010 STVSKSP4
Hi everyone!
I had a lot of fun making this card using one of my Gina K sets from last year. This card is for Challenge STVSKSP4. The images are from Rupa's Warm and Wonderful set. I colored them with Copics and added some Liquid Applique to add little puffs to the images.
Thanks for stopping by!

Sun. Nov. 28, 2010 STVCSP3
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving feast!
Today I am showing you the card I made for Gina' K's color challenge STVCSP3.
Since I am still working on Christmas/Holiday cards, I decided this color combination would work beautifully. The tree images are from Gina K's Winter Wonderland kit. I just love tree stamps, and I can see how versatile these will be throughout the year. I added some Stickles to these, although I had a tough time capturing all the sparkle with my camera.
Thank you for stopping by today!

CSS Alumni Blog Hop Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010
Here we are after Thanksgiving- hope you all are turkey-full, and now gearing up for Christmas.
If you arrived from Joy's blog, you are in the right place. If you want to start at the beginning, head over here.
Our challenge this time around is an inspiration one. Here is the photo Carolina gave us as the inspiration.
I chose the colors in this photo for my card. My first card uses the Gina K's Winter Wonderland Stamp TV kit, available here. I colored the image with Copics and then used Glossy Accents to give dimension to the berries. I decided to make this a gate-fold card. The sentiment was heat embossed with gold EP- it's from the Light of the Season set.

Fri. Nov. 26, 2010 Card Assortment
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
For today's post today, I have a set of 4 cards to show you. I still want to make a holder for these, but if I run out of time, I'll just tie them up with some raffia or twine.
Thank you for visiting.

Thurs. Nov. 25, 2010 Turkey Day
Well, today is the big eating day and I am so happy that my family will be here to celebrate. My sweet granddaughter flew in from Arizona and it is the first time we'll be seeing her since August, when she left for college. We are also celebrating her birthday today too. She turned 19 last Saturday. So excited!!!
My cards today were pretty CAS. The first one uses an Nestie petite oval and some MS punched branches. I added a red brad with some stickles on top of Rudolph's nose. I started with a Kraft base and added the striped bg from my scrap bin, and the bg behind the reindeer was stamped and heat embossed with clear, then sponged. I added a little bit of red ribbon and a button to finish it off.
My next card uses Melanie's A Year of Borders stamped set, stamped with Colorbox Frost White ink on Chocolate Brown Pure Luxury cs . I added the flower that I made weeks ago, that has been hanging around my workspace. The leaves were Cricut cut. Nina's Lovely Shelf stamp set provided me with the sentiment.
Well, that's it for today. I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!

Wed. Nov. 24, 2010 STV sketch challenge
My cards to show you today are for Gina's Sketch challenge, STVSKSP3.
Mt first card uses an ornament from Nina's Heirloom ornament set. I used an ornament punch from SU and then stamped the images and colored it with Copics. I added a little Stickles to the ornament centers. I sponged my cs base with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo inks to tone down the turquoise cs.
My next card is for Speedy's challenge #30. Geri challenged us to use a circle. The circle stamps are from Mark's Finest Papers. The poinsettia is from Melanie's A Year of Borders, from Gina K Designs. The sentiment, from Gina's Holiday Greetings stamp set, was heat embossed with gold EP. The bg was embossed with "Grace's Frame, from Cuttlebug. I sponged some white ink, to soften the cs.

Tues. Nov. 23, 2010 Note Cards and Box
After making the candy box (yesterday's post) I was inspired to make another project, which will make a nice hostess gift.
I made the black box, just a tad larger than A2 cards. Using Gina K ivory cs, I die cut the base, and then a piece of dp. I sponged the edges with Antique Linen distress ink. I then die cut a circle and a scalloped circle. The scalloped one was run through my CB with the Dotted Swiss folder. I ran a black marker around the edge of the plain circle, and then stamped the chandelier from Nina's Fine Furnishing stamp set. The sentiment is from her Lovely Shelf set. I topped it off with a pretty black bow. I love the elegant look of this box.
I made 4 note cards to coordinate, stamping with a Tim Holtz Weathered Textile stamp and Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and the sentiment from Nina Lovely Shelf on Nestie tags, with threaded black ribbons.
Here is the whole set.I really would love to know what you think about this set. Thanks for stopping by.

Inspiration from a hop
I was blown away by all the talent on the Spellbinder's hop, and I spotted a project that I had to try. I got up and made this (in the middle of hopping)- I just couldn't wait to try this. Thank you to Ashley Cannon Newell for this awesome idea.
We are going to visit some friends the Friday after Thanksgiving, and I thought this would be a great hostess gift.
Here is the outside. I love the look of these colors together for Autumn.
Here is a side view.
I decided to make box to go inside this one, so as not to messy this one up. This will also make it easier to transport without having the candy spill out. I will make a few note cards to go into the decorative box, after the candy is gone.

Sun. Nov. 21, 2010
I have a few more assorted cards to share with you today.
My first one uses a tree from Mark's Finest Papers- "A Walk in the Woods" stamp set. I love all the trees in this set.
My next card is a CAS, using Nina's Heirloom Ornaments stamp set. I have a lot of white background on this one, but I think it works.
Now I have one using a border from Melanie's "Year of Borders" stamp set, from Gina K's. I stamped the shells with Vivid Taupe ink on watercolor paper. A simple sentiment from Mark's Finest Papers "A Walk in the Woods". Some twine was added and voila- a CAS card on kraft.
Thank you for visiting!

Are you going to stamp today, or are you planning for your Thanksgiving Day? I think I will do a little of both. I am still working on my Christmas cards, but should be caught up soon.
I have another easel card for you today. Working within the mini canvas is so much fun.
The Gingerbread couple are from Asela "First Christmas" stamp set, and colored with Copics. I added some punched greenery and itty bitty berries. The sentiment is from Gina K's "Holiday Hospitality" set.
Have a great day!

Fri. Nov. 19, 2010 Color Challenge card
Happy Friday everyone!
My card for today is for the color challenge at StampTV- (stvcsp2). Gina challenged us to make a card using green apple, lipstick red, and white.
I made the back panel by cutting 1/2" strips from cs that I embossed with my Cuttlebug. I took a 7" piece of painter's tape and placed sticky side up on my workspace, turning under the ends to adhere to the mat. I then placed the alternating colors down on an angle on the tape. I trimmed the excesses and then cut the piece length-wise. I alternated so that the colors were off-set, and attached them to a piece of black cs.
I am so glad you stopped by!

I hope you are having a great week so far. I have two cards to show you today. The first one is a CASE from Jennifer Styles. She made hers a one layer card, but I added a couple of layers for mine. I made this for my granddaughter's 19th birthday, this Saturday. The cake inside is from Melanie's "Candles on your Cake" stamp set.
Thank you for visiting today.
My next card is another Christmas card using stamps from the new Stamp TV "Winter Wonderland" kit. I wanted it to look like the tree was being seen through a window, so I stamped the image after I colored the stamp with Memento markers. I sponged around the tree and then cut into window panes. The snowflakes were stamped and embossed with white EP.
Thank you for visiting today.

I have two cards for you today. The first one is for Challenge 23 at Joan's Garden.
Here is what we are supposed to do:
1. Create a Window card (Create an opening on the front of the card to see the image stamped inside.)
2. Use Christmas Ornament - or something similar
3. Some thing Gold
4. Something fuzzy
My focal image is from Theresa Momber's A Very Merry Christmas set. The bear is from Asela "Baby's First Christmas" set. I colored both images with Copics, and the bear was then painted with glue, so I could add the flocking to make him fuzzy.
My next card is another using the Quickutz easel die. I used Melanie's "A Year of Borders" set. I colored with Copics and cut out the poinsettias and popped them up on the canvas. The boughs in the background are from the "Winter Wonderland" Stamp TV kit. Thanks for stopping by!
Comments are welcomed!

Love this easel
I spotted this Sissix easel online a few months back and finally got around to buying it. I am having a lot of fun creating with it.
First up is a Hanukkah card for a friend that is also an artist. So, I thought this would be great for her. The image is from Gina's Light of the Season (one free with three) stamp set.
My next card is one I made for my cousin (also an artist). I had a blast creating the canvas for this easel. I used the tree (tops) from The STV stamp kit- Winter Wonderland. The snowflakes are from Holiday Hospitality and the sentiment from Holiday Greetings set. I scored the floor and sponged Distress ink over it. The wallpaper dp is a sheet of paper from the Winter Wonderland kit. I also scored a strip of white CS to make the baseboard. There are some Stickle sparkles on the trees and in the snow.
I really love the way this card turned out. At least two more cards are going to be posted tomorrow-hope to see you then ;)

Sunday 11/14/ 2010 Another Christmas card
Happy Sunday!
The card I have for you today uses Nina's Heirloom Ornament stamp set.
The musical dp was from my stash, but I did make the other dp. I sponged Red Barn and Forest Moss on the panel and then I stamped a Tim Holtz Weathered Textile stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black.
I embossed with EP and then sponged the ornaments with Distress inks. The "peace" was die cut with my Cricut and painted gold with a touch of clear star pen. A little bling and lace was added to finish off this card.
I am really happy with how this turned out!
Thank you for stopping by.

Release Party Challenges 1 and 3 and Card Patterns 89
Well- Here were are-just before we left for our neighbor's Halloween Party last night. I actually had fun making our costumes this year. I wish you all many blessings.
I hope you are having a beautiful Sunday. I received more good news yesterday. Two more of my cards will be published in Scrapbook News and Review magazine- the Holiday 2010 Edition, which will debut on November 28th, 2010.
Each issue has 4 times the content than the size of any in-print magazine on the market! It's also earth-friendly and you don't have to worry about storing magazines or finding an inspiring project -- it's all easy to find and easy to enjoy!
I have finished 2 of the 3 challenges from Gina K's Release Party.
First up is the one for Theresa's Odd Challenge. I am odd, so this one was appropriate-LOL.
I used three flowers, along with a sentiment from Melanie's "Buds and Vases" set which I mounted behind a cut out label from Gina's "Labeled with Love" set. The dp pieces are from my stash.
My next card is for Lee's non-traditional Christmas card challenge. All the images are from "Baby's First Christmas" by Asela Hopkins. I colored them with Copics.
This is also for the challenge at Card Patterns #89.
I appreciate you visiting!

Using Gina K's Pure Luxury CS as my base, I inked a background stamp with Stazon Timber brown and then sponged with Distress ink.

An "Attitude" Award
I sure hope it is for a good attitude, not a bad one- LOL.
I feel so honored to have received this award from my friend and fellow blogger, Kay S. Part of the award is that I have to tell three things that make me different from everyone else. Let's see . . .
1. Unlike Kay, I cannot sing at all. Seriously! I don't even sing in the shower-
I would scare myself-LOL.
2. I like going to the dentist- I was a dental assistant for 20+ years, I know what is going to be done-so, no fear.
3. I remarried on my 50th birthday to the sweetest guy- best birthday ever! What a party!!!! My son gave me away, my daughter was my Maid of Honor, and my granddaughter, my bridesmaid.
Now I need to pass this award along to five other bloggers.
I choose:
Happy Friday
How many of you stayed up late for the Release Party last night? Guess we are tired today!
I have two cards for you today. The first one is a "very" CAS card for One Layer Wednesday 27, hosted this week by Jennifer Styles. The details of this challenge are here. Just scroll to OLW 27.
My next one is a challenge card for InStyle color challenge and also for PaperPretties Wednesday Sketch Challenge (PWC 126).
I shabbied this one up a bit, and used the sunflower from the "Autumn Splendor" stamp set from Gina K's. The sentiment is from GKD Labeled with Love set. The paper is from Basic Grey.
Oh-oh- someone warned me that blogging could become addictive!!! It does help to keep one a little more organized!
Glad you stopped by. Comments are welcomed.
