Good Morning

First of all, I would like to thank all of you for the warm welcome to blog land. Your comments were very sweet and much appreciated!

The cards I have for you today are for Janice's Color Challenge at StampTV. We were to use Wine, Gold and Ivory. These colors just seemed so perfect for a Christmas card. You have until Sunday 11/7/2010 8 pm CST to make a card for Janice's challenge.

I used Gina's Wine with Everything Pure Luxury CS as my base and Ivory PL which was embossed in my Cuttlebug.  I stamped one of Nina's gorgeous labels with Versamark and heat set Gold EP.  Nesties were used to cut both the label and the Wine CS border. I colored those 3 little pearls with gold paint.

My next card, which was also for Janice's challenge this week, is also for the Card Patterns 88 challenge. I used Wine PL for my base, and added some dp from my stash.  I sponged some Aged Mahogany distress ink and spritzed with some Glimmer Mist. Gold CS was run through my CB Swiss Dots folder and backed with additional Wine CS. Added a dash of ribbon and a sentiment from the Holiday Greetings stamp set from Gina K.  The focal image is from the Gina K Holiday Cheer set, embossed with gold EP.

Thank you for visiting!
